Privacy Policy

FindMyPour is owned and operated by North Shore Engagement Media LLC ("we", "us"), which runs the FindMyPour website and apps, which show guests deals and events at local bars and restaurants and give those venues tools to run them. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and the choices you have. We don't sell your information, we don't show ads, and we don't use third-party analytics or tracking.
What we collect
If you use FindMyPour as a guest
- Your VIP Pass. A random pass code and check-in code, created when you first open the app. You don't need to give a name, email or phone number.
- A device key. Your phone or browser creates a security key that never leaves the device; we keep only its public half, to confirm that deal codes really come from your device.
- Details you choose to add: a first name; an email address and password (the password is stored only as a secure hash) or a passkey (Face ID or fingerprint; we store only its public key) to back up your pass; and the time you want your daily notification.
- Notifications. If you turn them on, the delivery address your browser or phone gives us, your time zone so the notification arrives at your chosen time, and which days it was sent and whether you opened it (kept 90 days), so we can tell if it's useful.
- How you use FindMyPour: deals you redeem, punch-card check-ins and rewards, restaurants you favorite or mute, bartenders whose shifts you unlock, reports you make about a bartender's profile, restaurants you ask to join FindMyPour (we count these and may tell the restaurant how many guests asked, never who), and messages you send through Get help.
- Notes from bartenders. A bartender whose shifts you unlock can save a nickname and short description so they remember who you are. Only that bartender sees them.
- Safety reports from bartenders. A bartender who feels unsafe can report a guest who has their schedule. The report (a reason and an optional note) goes only to FindMyPour, the bartender's schedule is hidden from that guest, and we may remove the guest's pass.
- Tags from bartenders. A bartender whose shifts you unlock can also give you positive tags from a fixed list (like “Great Vibe” or “Regular”) to help them remember you. Only that bartender sees them: not you and not other bartenders. Clear & reset data in Settings deletes them.
- Google Wallet. If you saved a FindMyPour pass to Google Wallet, whether it is saved and the details shown on it.
If you work at a venue
- Your name, email address (and whether you confirmed it with the code we emailed), password (stored only as a secure hash), PIN (also hashed), role and venue.
- Your venue's details: name, address, city, Google business listing, logo, photos, deals, events, punch card, point-of-sale code and settings.
- Shifts you post, deals you confirm, check-ins you log, and labels you add for guests who unlock your shifts.
- The restaurants and bars you list as places you work (taken from their Google listing), whether each venue confirmed you, and any reports guests make about your profile. Reports go only to FindMyPour, never to other staff, and don't say which guest made them.
Collected automatically
- Your IP address, used for a short time to stop abuse (for example, limiting how often a form can be sent). It is kept in memory only and is not stored with your pass or account.
- Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
- Error reports: when something in the app breaks, we record what went wrong, the page it happened on, your browser and device type, and, if you're signed in to a venue account, your name and venue (guests are recorded only as "guest"). Only our administrators see them, and they are deleted after 30 days.
- Cookies and storage on your device that keep you signed in, remember your pass and device key, remember a table code you scanned, your 21+ confirmation, your light or dark setting, and whether you've dismissed a message. They are not used for advertising.
How we use it
- To run FindMyPour: show deals, events and bartender shifts, create and check deal codes, and keep punch cards.
- To send the one daily notification you chose, and emails you need (for example, codes to confirm your email, password resets and help replies).
- To keep things fair and secure: one redemption per deal per night, nightly limits on secret menu items, and locking PIN entry after repeated wrong tries.
- To give venues reports on how their deals perform, and to answer your questions when you contact us.
Who can see it
- Venues. When you redeem a deal or check in, that venue's team sees the deal or punch and your first name if you added one. Venues see their own totals and reports, not your activity at other venues.
- Service providers who process data for us: Google Cloud (hosting), Supabase (database), Stripe (venue subscription payments; card details go to Stripe, never to FindMyPour, and we keep only the subscription status and Stripe's customer reference), Google (business search when a venue signs up, Google Wallet if you add a pass, and email delivery), and the push services run by Apple, Google, Mozilla and Microsoft that deliver notifications.
- When required by law, or to protect the safety of people or FindMyPour.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your pass and account information until you delete it. Password reset links expire after an hour. When a venue team member deletes their account, the deals they confirmed stay in the venue's history without their name.
Your choices
- Delete your guest pass: Settings → Clear & reset data deletes your pass and everything linked to it, including redemptions, punch cards, unlocked bartenders and help messages.
- Delete a venue account: Settings → Delete account. If you are a venue's last owner, this deletes the venue too.
- Notifications: change the time, mute restaurants, or turn notifications off in Settings or your phone's settings.
- See or correct your information, or ask us to delete it: contact us using the details below.
Age
FindMyPour is only for people 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21, and we delete it if we learn we have.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), store passwords and PINs only as secure hashes, and keep your device's private key on your device. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
